Ron Tear
I live in Loughton, on the Essex
side of London, which has, as have all our local environments, great potential
for photography! I always feel a great sense of anticipation when behind the
camera, especially when watching an ever-changing landscape or the behaviour
of wildlife. I photograph all subjects but landscapes and wildlife always
come out on top. Inclement weather brings out a passion in me, whether I'm in
the mountains or by the coast and trying to capture that magic moment where
the light usually has the starring role! I also give lectures to photographic
groups and judge at various photographic competitions in the East Anglian
region. I have exhibited in various venues in my area, also my work is
entered in contests worldwide and I recently received a "judges favourite"
award at the Travel Photographer of the Year. My ambitions are many with so
